This policy explains how Hello Finances Ltd collects, uses, and protects your personal data. We are committed to handling your information with care and in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We collect personal information in the following ways: when you sign up to our newsletter (your name and email address); when you purchase a product or programme (your name, email address, and payment information — payment details are processed securely by our payment provider and not stored by us); when you book a session (your name, email address, and any information you share in the booking form); when you contact us directly (any information you include in your message); and website analytics (anonymised data about how visitors use our site).

How we use your information

We use your personal information to send you the newsletter and other communications you have signed up for, deliver the products and programmes you have purchased, respond to enquiries and provide support, and improve our products and website. We do not sell your personal data to third parties, or use it for purposes other than those listed above.

We process your personal data on the following legal bases: consent (for newsletter sign-ups and marketing communications — you can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing); contract (to deliver products and programmes you have purchased); and legitimate interests (for improving our services and responding to direct enquiries).

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as necessary to deliver our services, or as required by law. If you unsubscribe from our newsletter, we will remove you from our mailing list promptly. Client records are retained for a reasonable period following the completion of a programme in line with our legal and business obligations.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to processing or request restriction, and withdraw consent at any time where consent is the legal basis. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to run Hello Finances, each of which may process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies: Squarespace (website hosting), Google Workspace (email and calendar), and Stripe and other payment processors (for product purchases). Data breaches

In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at hellofinances.org/privacy-policy. We will notify newsletter subscribers of any significant changes.

Terms and Conditions of Sale

These terms apply when you purchase digital products from hellofinances.org.

Products

Hello Finances sells digital products including workbooks, guides, and trackers in PDF or Excel format.

Payment

Payment is taken at the time of purchase via Stripe or PayPal. All prices are in GBP.

Delivery

Once payment is confirmed, your download will be available immediately via the link provided.

Refunds

By purchasing a digital download, you agree that the download begins immediately upon purchase. In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you waive your right to cancel once the download has started. We do not offer refunds on digital products. If you experience a problem with your download, please contact us at hello@hellofinances.org within 14 days of purchase and we will do our best to resolve it.

Intellectual property

All digital products sold by Hello Finances Ltd remain our intellectual property. Downloads are for your personal use only and may not be copied, shared, resold, or redistributed without written permission.

Governing law

All sales are made under the laws of England and Wales.
